This was a very good performance against a Manor side who kept going until the end. The Rams went ahead through Stuart Wilkins, playing at number 8, his try not converted. Fly half Ian Bate added to the Harlow score with a well struck penalty before Manor pulled one back, the try being converted. Just before half time the Rams scored again. Outside centre Stuart Sigston made a brilliant interception and ran sixty metres to score, the half time score was 15-7 to Harlow.

Eton Manor scored another try early on in the second half but it was soon countered by another excellent interception by Sigston , the conversion by Bate.  In the last few minutes Manor came back again and forced their way over the  line to leave the score  at 19-22. The Rams worked hard to get back into the visitors’ half of the field and were awarded a long range penaltyn which Bate converted. This was the last score of the game and Harlow  were worthy winners.
