Former Players Day

Saturday 6th December 2008

The annual Former Players day is on the 6th December 2008. This is a great event where old friends can once again tell that story from tour that everyone has heard a thousand times before but they still laugh. They now laugh at you rather than with you but it is still funny all the same! Then you can watch the current 1st XV and bitch and whine to your mates that they aren't as good as they were in your day etc etc!

The day starts at noon (12.00pm) and your 3-course lunch will be served before 1.00pm. The 1st XV will be playing at home in the league against the mighty Mersea Island. Beer and wine will be flowing throughout the day. Tickets are just £15 per head and this includes your 3-course meal, coffees and match day programme.

If you are a current player or an ex-player who can't make it then please feel free to send this invite on to other ex-players that you know, all are welcome and especially to some of our ex-Ladies players - you are encouraged to come along also.
