Rugby Club Renewal Project Update 12th October. What's new about the place ? View the Ground View the Club House |

For those of you who have visited the club in recent weeks it will have been difficult not to notice the changes within our old clubhouse. Here is a breakdown of the works in progress:
Shower room ceiling repaired the roof was being held up by copper pipes in places the full horror pictures will be published soon. Walls repaired with special damp proof construction new shower heads and tilings. Central Drains installed designed to cope with your mid-winter muddy blues. New extraction units to be fitted in ceiling. Completion by 15th Oct
Outstanding pressure investigation to upgrade pressure underway costing underway problem is that to facilitate more pressure we may need greater storage capacity & pressure vessels
Modernise & expand kitchen. Extraction system installed. Stainless steel working surfaces & storage. Kitchen entrance diverted away from bar. New non-slip flooring. Completion 15th Oct
Outstanding new fridges & freezers.
Expanded car park to take additional 25 spaces. Grassed area in front of patio re-enforced with grass block. Untidy vegetation removed and area landscaped. Completion 15th Oct.
Outstanding Patio extension & landscaping Elizabeth Way frontage. It would have been nice to tarmac the new areas however there are in sufficient funds at present.
Shower room roof shored up with new rafters. New boards and felt. Re-designed roof to prevent standing water that caused the rotting rafters above the shower room. Completion 15th Oct
Outstanding : still suffering from inefficient roof drains that allow standing water above the main club room. Porch above main entrance.
Repairs to main floor foundations. New Lino repairs to floor. Juke Box with 12 speakers fitted to both bars. Additional Bottle fridges. New non-slip floor behind bar. Completion 14th Oct.
Outstanding : Bar refurbishment, Disco/Entertainment area refurbish. General decor |
