Notes for Players Membership should be paid in full at commencement of current playing season. Or banking orders set up to ensure payments will be fully received. 1. You should check and confirm your selection at the club. 2. If you are selected, but unable to play, you must notify your Captain/Manager at once. You must also notify him immediately if you change your address or telephone number. 3. Tell your Captain/Manager if you are not available to play for the following week. Please give them a date when you are next available. Please help by completing the availability sheet on the rugby playing notice board. If you are not selected, but available to play, please inform the Playing Manager who will endeavour to get you a game. 4. Your Captain/Manager will collect your match fee at each game. Failure to pay could result in you not being selected for future games. 5. It is important you find out from your Captain/Manager at what time you are to meet at the club. If you intend to travel independently advise your Captain/Manager immediately. 6. Insurance R.F.U. Insurance - Compulsory - This insurance is a compulsory requirement for all clubs as members of the R.F.U. The cover is for Accidental Death & Permanent Disability, a full explanation of what is covered is available on request. Additional voluntary cover is available to individuals at their cost, primarily this will increase the amount of cover from £350,000 to £1,000,000. Loss of Earnings cover - through the Sponsorship of Whiskers Solicitors there is a provision for loss of earnings insurance to the 1st and 2nd XV, this level of cover is £200 per week deferred for 6 weeks up to a maximum payment period of 104 weeks. Pinnacle Sports Injury Insurance is available at a cost to the individual of £9.95 per month. Death by Natural Causes is not covered in the compulsory scheme.
7. Any club kit required over and above that provided by the club can be purchased from the Club Shop.
8. We have been very pleased with the improvement in the disciplinary record. As you may be aware, any club receiving a number of sending off's at whatever level can result in the whole club being banned. PLEASE BEAR THAT IN MIND |
