Heart disease is the UK's biggest killer.  Every two minutes someone in the UK has a heart attack and half of these attacks are fatal. With your support and the sponsorship money you donate we can fight heart disease so that it is no longer a major cause of disability and premature death.

Major advances have been made over the BHF's 42 year history, including improving bypass surgery and reducing hospital stays.  With more knowledge we can greatly limit pain and suffering

BHF are helping people live healthier lives

Changing your lifestyle is one of the best ways to prevent coronary heart disease.  By promoting key message about diet, smoking and exercise to all ages, we can invest in a healthier future.

BHF offer care and support to patients

The BHF helps patients recover from heart attacks or surgery, funds nurses to support patients and their families and offers rehabilitation and support services to ensure long-term care.  BHF also provide life-saving training and cardiac equipment to help hospitals and local communities cope with emergencies.

Although BHF play a major park in preventing and treating heart disease, without donations their work simply could not continue.  As a charity, they rely on fundraising events like the London to Brighton Bike Ride which last year raised nearly £2.5 million.  By sponsoring Linda, Paul or David you will help enormously in the fight against heart disease.
