25 April - Rugby News - This Weekend

This coming Saturday is the annual Graham Fox Memorial game at Upper Clapton. The game is against a combination Clapton side and any player from Harlow is welcome to play. Those who wish to play please contact Peter Westbrook, on either 01279 775470, or 07711 083428, or email peter.westbrook@whiskers.co.uk The kick off is at 3 pm Please be at Upper Clapton at 2pm. There will be a beer tent and BBQ and a good afternoon is guaranteed. A good turnout would be welcome as a tribute to a former Clapton player who was also know to many Harlow members. If anyone feels like a trip to Richmond on Sunday Harlow have a team in the prelims for the Middlesex Club Sevens, support welcome.

25 April - Rugby News - 1st XV Season Stats

We have used 48 players in the 1st XV this season (42 in the league) To see the full appearance information - Click here. (Just goes to show we need a very large squad!) - The Official league stats have been released which show four Harlow players in the top 20 try scorers and two Harlow players in the top 20 kickers. 25 April - Rugby News - Spooner 6 a-side tournament

Arrangements for the 2006 Spooner Six-a-Side Tournament are currently in hand and the Club is eagerly anticipating another month of great rugby, fun and beer! Last year we were oversubscribed with entries and for this year's event we want to ensure that Club-based teams get the first option to participate. 20 April - Club News - Annual AGM

The club AGM is on Thursday 4th May at 9pm and all club officers come up for re-election. A number of existing officers have decided that they do not want to stand again and so unless more members are willing to stand for office the quality of service provided by the club will decline and key sections of the club will have nobody to represent them at the Club EC. We have vacancies for: Chair of Mini Rugby, Chair of Youth Rugby, Chair of Rugby, Grounds Manager, House Manger, Bar Chairman, Fixtures Secretary, Treasurer.  The current occupants of the roles are happy to explain what is involved in each job as are any other members of the exec. If you are willing to stand you need to send your written nomination to club secretary Chris McFerran. It must be signed by you and by a proposer and seconder and all three of you must be full and paid up members of the club over the age of 18. The club constitution does NOT allow nominations from the floor you must be nominated in advance and in writing.
