21 August - Club News - Move News

Many of you will by now have received letters from Harlow Council acknowledging your objections to the Harlow Town Plan. We are discussing the situation with our planning and legal experts and will contact you soon with advice on what you have to do next. In the meantime please keep all the paperwork you receive from the Council safely, you will need it for any future action.

The good news is that there will be a public inquiry in December thanks in no small part to the volume of objection you put in. You may have also been invited to a pre-meeting of the inquiry in September. I an seeking advice on whether it is necessary for members to atten that meeting or not. Advice will follow in the next few days, as so hang on to the paperwork!

18 August - Club News - Pre-Season General Meeting

TONIGHT - Just in case you have not seen the posters on the Club notice boards, the Pre-Season General Meeting will be held this Thursday (18th August) after training at 9pm
There's not much on the agenda so it should not take long. it is in two parts Formal and Open Forum.

18 August - Club News - 4th Team Revival

In response to popular demand we are reviving the fourth team. This year they will only play friendlies and towards the end of the season we will discuss the possibility of applying for membership of one of the merit tables. A number of former players have decided to dust off their boots and play again in this our 50th anniversary season. If you are interested in playing please phone the team captain Brian Viney on 01799 550222. We have arranged 24 fixtures so there will be plenty of playing opportunities to play.

We have now finalised the fixtures for the coming season for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd Teams. Please follow the links to see the full fixture lists. Early games to get in your diaries are 1st XV friendlys against Upper Clapton on 20th August, Braintree on the 27th August and then the Bury St. Edmunds in the league on 3rd September. All of which are at home. The 2nd XV have friendlys against Dunstablians and Maldon on 27th August and 3rd September.
