27 June - Club News - 6 a-side Update
So it's all over now, CM20 snuck a tournament win by beating Krapyrubsnif into second place with wins over Roman Rams and Team James Hayden and a draw with Krapyrubsnif turned out to be enough.

In the other pools Flying Flamingo's won group two, Motley Saints group 3 and the Ladies team "Luscious" won group four.  Pictures of the day will follow from Colin Odell in due course.

Thank you to our sponsors, Mick Ellis (Trophies), Asda, McDonalds, Tesco and Wilkinsons.

The Spooner Fund has benefited to the tune of £1000 as the result of the tournament. On behalf of the Spooner Committee, thank you to everyone for their efforts in making this possible.

23 June - Move - New Town Plan on Display

The new Town Plan goes on display for public consultation for six weeks starting today. It proposes to make our ground Green Belt land. If that happens not only will seriously set back our plans for a move it will also impose tougher restrictions on what we can do on our present site. To view the report Click here

The Council have ignored the views of two Government planning inspectors and we need to convince the inspectors at any future inquiries that their colleagues were right.

That means ALL club members and friends filling in forms to submit formal objections to the Council plan. We will be making a briefing sheet available on how to object and advice will be available. Please watch this space and act promptly when asked. It is a very simple process.

23 June - Club News - 6 a-side Update

Week 5 of the tournament was played last night and the positions for Finals Day (25 June) are now completed. To view the table click here

Kick-off on Saturday is 4.00pm (be there for 3:30pm) and it promises to be an excellent afternoon's entertainment. Apart from rugby, we will be running a barbeque, there will be a raffle and, after the event finishes, a Karaoke for those with any energy left to 'entertain' us.

Please make an effort to come down and join the fun. Remember, all profits go towards the development of Youth rugby at Harlow RFC.
