31 May - Club News - Middlesex 7's 1999 - The Missing Photo It's been worth waiting for. Back in 1999 a number of brave souls from Harlow took to the Twickenham tuff to compete in the Middlesex 7's. Mark Guthrie wasn't part of the team however there was no keeping him off the pitch. No-one we know could stop laughing and take a photo but fortunately our friends at beerandrugby.com have found this photo of Guthrie doing a cartwheel. 26 May - Club News - Lions Games If you'd like to watch the Lions Games at the club you need to let us know. Kerry Palmer has put a Signing sheet on the notice board (One by the Fruit machine and the other is on the board by the front door.) Please could you sign it if you would like the club to be open. 19 May - Move News - Council Chamber Meeting The meeting which we have targeted our Petition to give us a chance to speak at the council discussion it will be at the Civic Centre at 7.30 on Monday 23rd May. It is important to get a LOT of members in the Council Chamber. We have handed in the petition and hope it will persuade them to grant us 3 minutes to put our case before the discussion. Will all members please try to get there to support our claim. |

12 May - Move News - Return Your Petitions It is now VERY URGENT to hand the Petitions Back to Dave Sharp or hand them in at the clubhouse by Monday 16th May. If you are still collecting signatures hand in the ones you have collected and then start a fresh sheet to hand in later. We now know that the special Council meeting is on 23rd May. We will be asking members to attend in numbers as before. It is suggested that members wear items in club colours to distinguish our members from those protesting about other bad council policies such as closing the Maypole Club. |
