31 May - Rugby News - Spooner 6 a-side tournament Tonight sees the second week of the Spooner Six-a-Side Tournament but, given that two teams failed to turn up last week, we are proposing to re-start the event from scratch tonight as a 12-team tournament. It is felt that this fairer to everyone competing. Come along and watch dozens of finely tuned athletes making a complete a*** of themselves (oh, and a few quite good ones too!) First matches kick-off at 7.30pm. |

24 May - Rugby News - Spooner 6 a-side tournament The Spooner Six-a-Side tournament kicks off tonight - first game 7.30pm. If you have indicated that you wish to enter a team but not yet paid please contact Ken Potter on 07764 182946 to do so NOW. If you have not paid by 7.00pm tonight, your team will be withdrawn and the place reallocated. NO PAY, NO PLAY!! - We had a very poor response to the request for help in running the event on the night - NOBODY, actually! As we said before, the event will only be as good as the resource we can out into it If you can assist, please contact Ken on the above number. If you are not playing, come along and support/laugh/abuse!! |

8 May - Club News - Under 15's Team The Under 15's rounded off their first season together with a superb 19-15 at Braintree as part of the host club's Rolling Day of Rugby. They entertained the large crowd with some excellent rugby and fully deserved their victory.
