Help Required this Weekend

Pitch Repairs

We have a large number of home games both this weekend and next. Because of the heavy rain we have had recently and the large amount more forecast we will have to cancel some games unless some pitch repair work is done. We need 10 volunteers on the Saturday and Sunday at 10am to spend a couple of hours forking the pitches in those areas where water collects and then rake in sand. We did this last season and it allowed us to continue to play in conditions when games would have been cancelled. It does work please come and help. What you need

• Wellies
• A garden fork
• A bucket to carry sand
• If possible a lawn rake or garden rake.
