Darren has been with the club for many years progressing through our junior section (from age 14) and on into the senior teams spending a great deal of time performing well in past seasons in our second team. Darren made his 1st XV debut coming on as a sub in the second row for Robert Cochrane away against Thurrock 2nd April 2005 (London & South East Div II North) Harlow lost the game 41-5. He made his full debut the week after against Ealing where we lost 64-3. Darren scored his first 1st XV try came the following season away against Sudbury on 22nd October 2005, again Harlow lost 32-18 and it was Darren�s cousin Simon Vanbeck who gave him the final pass. (Well Darren says the ball was kicked at Simon's head and bounced into his hands)
