Although coming from a very rich family Gareth never let the money go to his head and as Harlow Rugby Clubs resident painter and decorator and he never needs to ‘brush up’ on his skills. As Flanker and a regular 2nd team player Gareth clearly ‘white washes’ the opposition with his talent. He puts his rugby success down to rigorous twilight bird watching sessions which he does with his sister Anne. Spending hour after hour the Summers watch the birds in a hide Gareth build and painted himself on top of a block of Flats near the Stow shopping centre. “I saw a pigeon once” Gareth announced proudly.
