These days he is establishing himself as a key back row player for the Harlow 1st XV. After a gap year he is studying Business with Finance at Hertfordshire University. Harlow prides itself as being a family club but James is one of eight family members who have taken to the field in a Rams shirt. Dad Adam now manages Harlow under 13s after a long playing career and Mum Eve is a former member of Harlow Ladies while his brother Ryan plays for the under 17s and younger brother Alfie captains the under 13s. It does not end there, uncle Graham played for Harlow 1st XV, Essex and Eastern Counties, not to mention a spell with Wasps while cousins Chay plays for the under 14s and Jude for the minis.
