Rob's dad played for Scotland in his heyday (back in the 70's) and can be often seen patrolling the touch line shaking his head in disapproval and some of the chances the team fail to take. However this has never stopped Rob from turning up each week working on his game. He says his Dad is his biggest critic so if he says you've played well your happy for a week. Rob broke into the 1st XV on his return to Harlow last season (2008/09) this season he has been made vice-captain as his commitment to the team has been second to none. Nicknamed peperami as his legs resemble the meat based snack, while we are on food and drink he also has a fondness for Buckfast, the drink of Monks made in Devon, is drank mainly by the Scottish in an attempt to forget about the misery their lives have become. (Although Buckfast accounts for 0.5% of alcohol sales in Scotland the Strathclyde Police say that Buckfast was mentioned in more than 5,000 crime reports over the last three years.) So if you see Rob with a peperami and a bottle of Buckfast, stand back!
