Saracens Partnership with Harlow

What a week it's been for the Harlow RFC Junior members. On Sunday (5th Decemer) Donald Barrell, Saracens Academy & England U19 player, paid a visit to the Minis Sunday morning training session. A product of Minis rugby himself, Donald was right at home with the young Harlow players as he spent the morning coaching and encouraging each age group. On Wednesday (8th December) evening Hugh Vyvyan, Saracens senior team captain and try scoring England international, came to Ram Gorse to offer his coaching services to the Under 13/14/15/16 teams.

All the teams benefited greatly from Hugh's encouragement and advice and had a great time as they showed off their skills. The partnership between Harlow and Saracens has had hugely positive impact on the skills and confidence of the club's junior players. All the teams are eagerly anticipating further visits later in the season. Harlow RFC is organising a number trips to Vicarage Road, Watford, to watch Saracens home games. New members to Harlow’s Youth section are always welcome; Minis (6 – 11 yrs) train on Sunday mornings at 10:00, Under 13/14/15/16 on Wednesday 19:00 – 21:00, Under17s/18s Thursdays 19:00 – 21:30.
