1st XV Game
The 1st XV game against Holt tomorrow has been called off. This is due to the referee having to travel from Durham and the long distance that Holt need to travel and of course the weather forecast. However the Sponsors lunch is still going ahead and at this point the 2nd XV game hasn't yet been called off. There will also be France v Italy and Scotland v England on the big screen, so still plenty of rugby to be enjoyed at the club tomorrow.. More info

New Site
We have today launched a cleaner designed club web site with much less clutter which is now more Google/Facebook in look than Ryanair! There are easy links across the top to key pages and photo’s across all the main pages will only come from those in our database added in the last year, of course the Picture Archive still includes all the photo’s we have captured. There is RSS integration so you can get our posts on Breaking News direct to your RSS reader. There is direct access from the front page to the member area's, Match Reports for all teams including juniors, available in one place, going back over many years and updated Player Profiles. Fellow Lunch Clubbers,
We entertain Holt this Saturday who are the runaway leaders of this league but who don't travel too well apparently. Dee is cooking chicken chasseur and if it's half as good as her beef stew then we will be in for a treat. Cheese ans biscuits and wine on tables, 15 pounds per head. Micky Carpet is sponsoring match ball so the rest of you are too late..that'll learn you!

Saracens v Harlequins
Saracens are taking on Harlequins at Wembley 3pm on Saturday, 31 March in a match which pits the current first and second teams in the Premiership and so may go a long way to decide the destination of this year's trophy. Tickets are available at reduced prices from the 'walk up' rate if ordered through the club and priced at 15 pounds adults and 5 pounds juniors. However, if we as a club order 30+ tickets, these prices reduce to 10 pounds and 3 pounds respectively. If you are interested in organising a group or just going with yourself and friends, please email Ken Potter - kpotter705@aol.com as soon as possible. The earlier tickets are ordered the better seats you'll get. It will be strictly cash with order.

U17's Race Night

Players Coaching Event
We would like to make you aware that Saracens are running the next Alan Day International Players Coaching Event on the evening of the 8th February at Old Albanians RFC. This is a great opportunity for Mini and Junior rugby players aged 7-16 to gain some valuable experience and advice by some of Saracens high profile players such as Schalk Brits, Jacques Burger, Richard Wigglesworth, Steve Borthwick, David Strettle, John Smit, Brad Barritt and Owen Farrell. This is a fantastic opportunity for young aspiring rugby players to train with some of Saracens international stars in order to further their rugby development on and off the field. They will also be given a limited edition t-shirt to train in and will have the opportunity for player interaction during and after the session and to collect autographs and have photos with some of the biggest names in the Aviva Premiership and International Rugby.
