Harlow Rams beat Chingford in a tough game on Saturday.
Harlow started of the game asleep and within five minutes of the game Chingford had scored and converted. On 15 minutes Harlow finally woke up and good work from Kerry Palmer and an off load to Matt Branch, set up the first try for Harlow which was scored by Jack Burn. Ryan McGlone converted.
Chingford replied strong with another converted try, to put them 14-7 up. McGlone then kicked a penalty for Harlow to bring the score to 14-10 at half time.
At the break Harlow brought on some of the younger Colts players to give them some game time.
Chingford started of the stronger team by kicking a penalty and then five minutes in scoring going over for a try to put them 22-10 up.
The scored stayed the same throughout most of the half but with ten minutes to play Harlow turned their game on and some good forward work saw Zak score his first senior try, McGlone converted.
Straight from the restart Harlow used quick hands and some good footwork to score another try with Mike Watts scoring, McGlone converted.
Harlow lead 24-22 with just five minutes to plat. It was a nerve racking finish the last play of the game gave Chingford a penalty shot at goal but fortunately for Harlow he missed.
