Friday 31/05/2013 Rugby - 24 Hour Rugby Fozzie Brown has been invited to play rugby for Team Scotty on the 31st of May through to the 1st June.Team Scotty will take on a Tri-Forces team in an attempt to break the record for THE LONGEST EVER GAME OF RUGBY UNION. The current record stands at just over 24hrs!! The match will take place at Welford Road, home of Leicester Tigers. Saturday 15/06/2013 Other - Rugby Force weekend On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16 June, Harlow RUFC is participating in the NatWest Rugby Force weekend when clubs up and down the country rally their members, supporters and friends to join together to help clean/repair/tidy etc their facilities in order to try and make them better for the use of everyone. Like most clubs at our level, we rely greatly on our people to help us make the most of our meagre resources by volunteering their time or supplying us with materials so as to undertake a number of maintenance and repair projects. The benefits of these works will be enjoyed by all sections of the club so we would like each of these to participate during the weekend, if at all possible. Further details will follow shortly but, in the meantime, could anyone who can provide time, materials, loan of equipment please let Ken Potter know on kpotter705@aol.com. We would like volunteers from Senior Men, Ladies, Juniors, Girls, Minis, VP's, Parents and Social Members to play a lead role in organising volunteers from their respective sections.
